The latest anti-aging treatment that tightens the jowls.
The Nefertiti neck lift is a new technique where by placing Botox injection along the lower jawline as well as down the side of the neck along the platysma muscle the definition of the jawline is improved, this also re-balances the underlying muscles and provides a ‘lifting’ effect in the neck and jaw area.
A well defined jawline with a long neck has been a sign of beauty since the time of the Egyptians.
This new procedure which creates a well toned, smooth neck, and raised jawline was named after Queen Nefertiti, whose bone structure continues to be admired in modern times. As a nonsurgical treatment delivered by injection, this also results in a reduction of facial lines and wrinkles.

How is it beneficial?
A Nefertiti Lift can prevent muscles from pulling down lifting the lower face , and return a contoured appearance to your jawline. It helps improved jawline definition and improved appearance of prominent neck bands in a short treatment of time in an effective alternative.
Ideal candidates for the Nefertiti lift are those who are experiencing the initial signs of aging around the jawline and upper neck. Individuals who suffer from more advanced aging in this area may not achieve satisfactory results and may be better suited for a neck and/or chin lift. Patients should also be in good overall health and have realistic expectations for what can be achieved through the procedure.
Ideal candidates meet several of the following descriptions:
Normal or thin weight
No excessive fat along the jawline
Loose or folding skin below the chin or jawline
Neck bands or “turkey neck”
Mild to severe “jowls” or cheeks that hang below the jawline
Rippled appearance along the jawline
A very pronounced, square jawline
Before undergoing the Nefertiti Lift the doctor will examine the lower face and neck to tailor make the treatment for each patient.
A numbing cream will be applied 45 minutes before the procedure to decrease the discomfort during the injection.
The skin is then prepped and the Botox is gently placed with a very small needle the exact location and depth of placement.
The treatment is suitable for patients of all ages! Younger patients who want to prevent their platysma muscle form becoming overactive and older patients who have high depressor muscle activity which cause facial laxity.
Once these muscles are relaxed the net effect is an upward pull from facial muscles, creating a younger looking jawline, neck and face. For a lasting result the treatment can be repeated every 4 months.
Do not lay your face down before 4 hours after treatment. It’s better to not bend down, lie down, or do strenuous exercise immediately after treatment. Avoiding alcohol ,Aspirin, Ibuprofen or other strong painkillers may reduce the extent of bruising. It’s also a good idea to avoid using a sauna for 2 weeks. To further reduce risk you should avoid aggressive skin manipulation up to one week after treatment. This means try to stay away from treatments or facial massage.
Aftercare is incredibly important when it comes to Botox. It’s something that many people overlook.
