Why do some institutions offer such large amounts for the same price?
The simple answer is research. In all reseach patients are usually critically ill or end stage. Groups are administered high amounts of cells because the research needs good results. These results are then typically copied. The problem arises when there is cell death due to freezing. The way to cope with this is to carpet bomb the body with large amounts of cells. The ”bad” cells must then be ejected from the body. This is counter productive to say the least.
