Your First Visit

Good information comes first.

With hormones, the better you understand what we are measuring and why, the better your treatment works, so we explain things before we start. A blood test taken at the wrong time, or without preparation, may not be readable, and you would have paid for a test that tells us nothing. We would rather plan ahead with you.

BEFORE YOUR BLOOD DRAW

How to prepare

✓  Book a morning slot, between 9:00 and 10:00.

✓  Fast for 8–12 hours. Plain water is fine, and please drink plenty of water the day before.

✓  Stop biotin for 3 days. Check hair, skin and nail vitamins and multivitamins, which often contain it.

✓  No strenuous exercise for 48 hours.

✓  On the morning of the test, wait until after the draw before taking your usual medicines, vitamins or hormone gels.

✓  If you have regular periods, the best day is about 7 days before your next period (day 21 of a 28-day cycle). Any other day is fine; just tell us the first day of your last period.

✓  Bring a list of any hormones, vitamins or peptides you take that were not prescribed here.

DAY 1

Blood draw

You fill in our health questionnaires. A nurse checks your blood pressure, weight, height and waist, then takes your blood.

IF TREATMENT IS RIGHT FOR YOU

Your plan

Your doctor explains the options, the risks and the follow-up plan. A nurse shows you how to use your medicine, and your first collection is in person.

DAY 2

Your results, with a doctor

From the afternoon of the next day, your doctor goes through every result with you, at the clinic or by WhatsApp video call. Your written report is emailed to you after the consultation.

AFTER YOU START

Ongoing care

You see a doctor at every follow-up blood test. Questions go to our nurse team by WhatsApp or email, Monday–Saturday, 10:00–17:00.
