Epithalon (also written Epitalon; sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, "AEDG") is a small regulatory tetrapeptide that has earned a distinctive place in regenerative medicine for its anti-senescence approach to cellular aging. It is a synthetic form of epithalamin, a substance the pineal gland produces naturally to help the body resist stress and maintain its antioxidant defenses. Because it is so small, Epithalon penetrates cells readily and acts as a precise biological signal — prompting the cell's own repair machinery rather than overriding it.

Unlike therapies that supply a hormone from the outside, Epithalon works upstream, at the level of the cell's own maintenance systems.   • Epithalon: 50 mg vial

  • Reconstitution: 1 mL sterile water per vial (gives 50 mg/mL)

  • Route: Subcutaneous (SC) injection

  • Syringe: Insulin syringe

Typical dosing (as prescribed)

  • Reconstitute one 50 mg vial by slowly injecting 1 mL of sterile water; swirl gently until clear — do not shake.

  • Inject 0.2 mL (10 mg) subcutaneously every other day using an insulin syringe.

  • One full course = 2–3 vials used back-to-back (each vial = 5 doses), i.e. 10–15 injections over about 20–30 days.

  • Repeat 1–2 full courses per year, spaced at least 6 months apart.

Epithalon is given as short, focused courses rather than continuously — acting as a periodic "DNA-repair reset," in line with the published protocols.

Possible side effects

Epithalon is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects may include:
